CHANGELOG
What shipped in Atlaso
Newest first. Product changes only: the pipeline work behind them lives in the blog.

Weekly reports are labelled by the days they cover
A weekly report used to be titled by the day it started, so "Week of Aug 24" left you counting forward to work out where it ended and where the next one began. Every picker, heading and share card now names the span itself, Aug 24 to 30, and says so across a month boundary too.

China is now a published storefront
The China App Store joins the US, UK, Turkey, Germany, Japan and South Korea across the whole product: its daily charts, its movers, its keyword ranks and its own page in the opportunity report. We have been capturing it quietly for a while so the history was already there on day one rather than starting from today, and every page that names the markets we cover now counts seven.

Most searched App Store keywords, free and filterable
Every search term we have scored, in one table you can filter by storefront, App Store category and how much demand it carries, then sort by the opening it leaves. The category comes off the apps Apple actually returns for the term rather than being assigned by hand. Free, no account, and it sits alongside the difficulty checker on a new tools page.

Eight guides on finding and sizing an app idea
How to find a profitable niche, estimate what a category earns, validate an idea against reviews, do keyword research and read chart movement, plus worked examples for Productivity, Photo & Video and Health & Fitness. Free, no account, and every figure in them is a real one out of a published run rather than an invented illustration.
- shipped
Head-to-head pages against the other ASO tools
What each tool costs to start, what it caps at that price, what its free tier actually includes and what it is built for, in one table. Every figure comes off the vendor's own pricing page and carries the date it was last checked, ours included.
- improved
Public pages load a fraction of what they used to
The free keyword pages were pulling over a megabyte nobody on the page had asked for: a bot check that armed itself before anyone typed, and every link in the footer and the related blocks fetching itself in advance. Both are gone, so a page arrives sooner and stops shifting under you as it loads.
- improved
One storefront rail instead of the same question asked twice
An app page used to carry a market dropdown next to a separate track button, which asked which storefront you are looking at and which you are tracking as if they were different questions. They are now one row of chips, each carrying both.
- fixed
Japanese, Korean and Chinese terms are matched as words
Keyword research split a term on spaces to find it in an app title, which turns a whole Japanese or Chinese phrase into a single word that almost never matches. Those scripts are now segmented properly, so the research tool shows the titles that really do target a term.
- shipped
Germany, Japan and South Korea are live
Three storefronts join the US, UK and Turkey across the whole product: daily charts, keyword research and rank tracking, and their own scored categories in the Scout report. They had been capturing history quietly for weeks before launch, so they arrive with a past instead of an empty chart.
- shipped
Every Scout run now publishes a public write-up
The weekly "what moved on the App Store" post is generated from the run itself: the biggest chart climbs, what it costs to enter a top 100 in each storefront, the charting apps their own reviewers are unhappy with, and the highest-scoring ideas. Every figure traces back to the run file it came from.
- improved
Faster pages, and an accessibility pass over the public site
Public pages now render next to the database rather than an ocean away, which cut the wait on a cold page load. Colour contrast, heading order and link affordance were fixed across the marketing surfaces.
- shipped
The scoring method is public, in full
Every weight, penalty and threshold behind an opportunity score, generated from the live parameters rather than hand-copied, so the numbers can be argued with.
- shipped
Older Scout runs are released as they age
Monthly runs open to everyone once they are past their window, so the archive grows with 25 more categories of published research a month.
- fixed
The review miner now sees Apple's soft throttle
Apple answers a rate-limited review request with an empty 200 rather than an error. The pipeline used to read that as "no reviews" and move on; it now stops and backs off, so a throttled run can no longer look like a quiet category.
- shipped
A free keyword difficulty checker, no account needed
Check any App Store term in the US, UK or Turkey and get a difficulty score and a popularity proxy computed from live search results.
- shipped
Real URLs for the free run, the chart hubs and every charted app
The free Scout run, each storefront's daily chart and each app we hold metadata for now have their own page, all readable without an account.
- improved
Every shared link gets its own preview card
App pages, chart pages and category pages each render a card with their own numbers, instead of one generic image for the whole site.
- improved
Bot protection on the public forms
The contact form and the newsletter signup are now behind a challenge, which keeps the mail quota for people rather than scripts.
- improved
The whole product works on a phone
Tables, the sidebar, the Scout report and every marketing page were reworked for small screens, with tap targets sized for a thumb.
- improved
Choosing a plan takes you straight to checkout
Picking a tier on the pricing matrix now opens the payment page directly. The extra in-app plan picker in the middle is gone.
- improved
Deleting an account is immediate, and cancels billing first
Deletion is confirmed with your password rather than an emailed link, and any live subscription is cancelled before the account goes, so nothing can keep charging a card you can no longer reach.
- shipped
Atlaso is live
Daily chart snapshots across the US, UK and Turkey, keyword research and rank tracking, and the Scout opportunity report in three cadences.
