An App Radar alternative with no seat or keyword caps

Prices and features checked · 4 min read

App Radar and Atlaso overlap on keyword research and diverge on almost everything else. This page is written by one of them, so check the claims: App Radar's figures come from its own pricing page on 27 August 2026.

App Radar meters apps, keywords and seats, so the bill moves when any of the three does. Atlaso meters one thing, how often the opportunity report runs, and leaves the workspace uncapped: track every app and every keyword you like on the $29 tier.

The trade is real, though. Atlaso has no seats at all, so there is no team plan to grow into: one login, one person.

What Atlaso does that App Radar does not

  • Tells you what to build. The Scout report scores 25 categories across six storefronts for underserved openings, with the incumbent each one takes from and the review evidence behind it. Keyword tools tell you how to rank for something you already decided to make.
  • Counts complaints. Recent one and two-star reviews of the charting apps, clustered into named grievances with how many people raised each.
  • Publishes the whole method. Every weight and penalty, plus a complete run given away free.

What App Radar does that Atlaso does not

  • Store listing management. Editing and publishing listing content, with AI assistance. Atlaso never connects to your developer account.
  • Google Play. Atlaso is Apple only.
  • Worldwide coverage and team seats. Atlaso covers the US, UK, Turkey, Germany, Japan and South Korea, for one person.
  • Review reply workflow. Atlaso reads reviews as evidence; it cannot answer them.

Which to pick

Running listings for several live apps, with colleagues who need access: App Radar is shaped for that and Atlaso is not. Researching a market on your own, or choosing the next thing to build: start with the free run, then compare the self-serve options on the indie ASO tools page.

Questions

What are App Radar's limits?
Its published plans meter three things at once. Essentials was €69 a month for 2 apps, 500 keywords and 1 seat; Growth €169 for 10 apps, 1,500 keywords and 2 seats; Scale €299 for 15 apps, 3,000 keywords and 5 seats. There is a 7-day trial and no permanently free plan.
Does Atlaso limit apps or keywords?
No. Every tier carries the whole workspace with no per-app or per-keyword cap. The price sets how often the Scout opportunity report runs: not at all on Tracker, monthly on Scout, weekly on Pro.
Can Atlaso publish or update my App Store listing?
No. App Radar can manage and push store listing content; Atlaso is read-only research and never connects to your developer account.
